  • I made the biggest mistake this week and I’ve made it before. In the rush of getting to and fro faster I neglected the most important balance in training my body. ➕When we do any weights session especially squats, lunges, free weights - we must do a complete abdominal workout to ensure even muscle use around the body (trunk & core) also ensure you stretch before the body cools down. ⤴️Guess what I didn’t 😬🤷🏼‍♀️ as I had to do Mama transport chores .. sooo...... Result: my lower back and hip flexors are causing me grief. Tightness around my hips and lower back. My running and whole week training has been affected so to counteract I have to stretch and continue a few sessions of basic active recovery and book a massage➕b.truth⤴️ Ensure you have time to complete full sessions. Core is so so important. My sacrum and pelvis twist or slide out of position if I neglect them (which I often do! Slow learner over here! ) good reminder for me. Thx hon. X

Oh wow, I’ve been lifting weights for years and haven’t been told this @belinda.n.x - I thought bracing abs whilst lifting heavy was enough. Will def read more in to this 🙏💕
