  • Green opal brooch, client archives. A long time client, the very talented actress Kristen peace, on insta @kripeace gave me her brooch that had lost a stone, and since I protect my jewelry for life, I took it to fix. Once I got it home, I found the last green opal I had and replaced it. Before mailing it out I photograph it for Instagram for two reasons. One, it’s a nice brooch, and two, I wanted to show it as an example of using such an unusual stone. Since I’m off on my buying trip to the states to buy more of these opals in multiple colors, I thought I would include more pics of just some of the choices I have when shopping for stones to insert into my jewelry. Pic 3, opals in multiple colors Pic 4, matrix in multiple colors Pic 5, Venetian glass, they always remind me of Hungarian/ European Restarant table wear Pic 6, sand blasted ovals and carved leafs Pic 7, an amazing 3D cat cameo, I already own this but haven’t found a setting that works with it yet Pix 8, Wedgwood flower cameos Pic 9, “oh my gosh” I love tacky Christmas picture jewelry ovals, and lol I’m one of them Pic 10, “oh my gosh gosh” even tackier I love cat and dog picture ovals, Leave a comment, like or not, what you think of some of the stone choices. #canadianmade #madeintoronto #handmadeincanada #vintagebrooch #artdecojewelry #artnouveaujewelry #artnouveau #vintagejewelry #vintagejewellery #oneofakindshow #vintageaccessories #OOAK19 #ooakdiaries #torontoshopping #costumejewellery #costumejewelry #bringbackthebrooch #opal #opaljewelry #opaljewellery #statementbrooch #broochbouguet #torontofashion #torontoshopping #toronto_insta #torontofashionblogger #torontojewelry #torontojewellery #torontojeweller

This stone green opal you call it is what I call harlequin, this type when they are clear and sharp are my very favorite , I think you know that but just checking.
