  • with back to school in full swing and all of us here getting adjusted to our new school year schedules, this recipe has been all the rave. so here’s my new favourite quick and hassle free breakfast recipe: 🍫 VEGAN PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE BLENDED OATS 🍫! cause who doesn’t love peanut butter and chocolate? this tastes like a peanut butter cup, but it’s sweetened with just a ripe 🍌! i wouldn’t mind waking up to this gluten-free, refined sugar-free + vegan breakfast everyday don’t you?// so i’ve just discovered this new breakfast hack and i’m a little bit obsessed. have you ever tried blending your oatmeal instead of cooking it? this has got to be one of my favourite things to eat at this very moment. when i discovered blended oats i was swooning over all the possibilities. it’s everything you love about oats…just blended 👅 any kind of goodness you can think of, you can have with blended oats. i wasn’t even going for blended when i made this oatmeal, it just happened. sometimes i set out to make dessert-inspired-breakfast recipes. but even better is when i set out just to make breakfast and the dessert part sneaks up and surprises me 😜// it’s clear to everyone who knows me i’m addicted to chocolate and peanut butter together. they’re perfect for each other, and anyone who has ever eaten a peanut butter cup can attest to that 🙏🏻 however, recently my main issue with chocolate and peanut butter has been that it’s not exactly the healthiest combo on the block. yeah, pb has healthy fats, but it’s still super high in calories and should be eaten in limited amounts. my peanut butter recipes don’t tend to limit it at all – in fact, i usually put in more peanut butter than recipes call for. oops. chocolate, well, we can pretend until we’re blue in the face that chocolate is healthy, but we all know the truth. chocolate has a few benefits when you have one piece, but when you’re eating like, 10 ounces? yeah, those benefits are long gone. so presenting my breakfast which tasted sinful, delicious, and absolutely not healthy – aka my new favourite breakfast! since i first made it, i’ve made it at least four times a week for breakfast. it’s that good! 😋
