  • I’m often asked which room is my favorite in our home. For #2018favoriteposts I’m sharing the before during and after of our renovated kitchen. ✨ When we originally bought this home 2 years ago the kitchen was a complete mess. It had not been touched for over 20+ years and it was dated. We decided to change the floor plan by removing a wall to open everything up. We even changed the entrance to the powder room so we could build a hutch into the wall opposite the island for more storage. We took a large soffit out that sat on top of the cabinets so that we could stretch our cabinets to the ceiling and we removed a large sliding door and replaced it with a narrower taller set of French doors to allow more room for cabinets. This kitchen had no island so we built the largest island we could. 😂 This is the heart of our home and the space that you can see from everywhere downstairs. ❤️ We love everything that we have done and we’re so happy that we have created the space of our dreams for Jeff to cook in. 🥰👨‍🍳🍽 ———————————————- So fun sharing my favorite post with you and @my100yearoldhome @designsbykaran @dreamingofhomemaking ———————————————- #kitchendesign #kitchen #kitchenremodel #interiordesign #cozy #gourmet #architecture #renovation #diy #home #makeover #window #lights

I love this kitchen. And those small lights on the sides of the window. Love them
