Day 9 of working. Yes I came to work feeling like crap 😷. I believe the third and fourth days of being sick are the worst. Should've stayed home. When I worked in the warehouse i didn't get sick, now I'm in an office and it's germs everywhere!
For those that know me know I'm really sick if I'm drinking tea and having soup for lunch. Who am I?
The other thing I don't understand is this. NYS law says we are allowed 5 sick days, but they have to accrue. Basically every 30hrs worked you get one hour of sick time. I have a total of 5hrs accrued, so if I take tomorrow off, I am going to have to use a vacation day. The crap you get for working hourly. Kinda bullshit is that? We should be allowed to use those sick days from day one of the new year.
