  • So the holidays are “officially” over. And I’m sorry coz I’m gonna miss the colours and the Christmas lights so much. That’s why I’ll keep posting pictures of my Mexico these days😌✌🏻 We have colours and piñatas all year long, not only during Christmas. Did you know that those cones, which we call “peaks” represent the 7 capital sins?🤓 so basically, the idea of the piñata is destroying evil to get good things out of it🎉 ~ Usually, piñatas would have candies inside but we have this crazy tradition of putting fruit, yes fruit, inside piñatas during Christmas 🤦🏻‍♀️ ~ Piñatas are often made of clay pots so if you break a piñata during Christmas in Mexico, probably a smashed mandarin or a sugar cane or a piece of pot will fall onto your head 🤷🏻‍♀️ Ok with this description it doesn’t sound very appealing, but I swear that growing up breaking piñatas in birthdays and Christmas is one of the memories I cherish the most ♥️ • • • • • • #mercado #market #travelphotography #fruta #fruit #piñata #ilovecolors #colours #color #travelphotographer #mexicantradition #tradition #home #travel #beautifulplace #travelphoto #travelgirl #travelbug #wanderlust #urbanphotography #girlsabroad #girlswhotravel #amoviajar #igers #igersitalia #igersmexico #cholula #puebla #mexico #mimexico
